The Kolo Series

The power of electricity and light can be perceived as magic, just as the movements of the universe;combines these ideas by being made up of two light fixtures that illuminate a space like astronomical phenomena. While they perform a practical purpose, the Kolo Series is essentially interactive art installations that will awe everyone around them. 

Designed by Polish industrial designer Pani Jurek in collaboration with architect, Piotr Musialowski, the Kolo Series is comprised of Kolo Sand and Kolo Magnet. The first is comparable to an hourglass. When its mechanism is moved upside down, sand slowly covers the light source to create a softer ambiance. The latter works with a magnetic disc that opens a spectrum of the light effect when slid over the surface.
