If you want to use magnets on a Customised map - no problem.
The MagPrint brand is MagScapes class-leading service for custom maps. It is the easiest way to commission a custom map to work with magnets. We use a base MagLiner for magnet receptivity covered with a digitally printed wallpaper to provide a 3/5 receptivity rating. The maps are created using OS data filtered and scaled to order.
To create your own magnetic wall map follow our three step process:
- measure the wall height and width
- add to Quantity the number of square meters or yards required (ie: 2.3m x 3m = 7)
- add to Notes in Checkout, the map location (post/zip code) and your preference for 'A road, waterway and park' custom colour treatments
Once we receive your order, our production team will:
- liaise with you to discuss options and confirm preferences
- send a colour digital proof of the selected area
- send completed printed wallcovering
Printed wallcoverings are supplied in a soft sheen finish. They are delivered as numbered rolls with full instructions.

How to measure

To calculate the square meters simply multiply the width (meters) by the height (meters) of the wall and if needed round up e.g: 3.2m wide x 2m height = 6.4m2. Enter Quantity: 7
Find an image
MagScapes utilise high quality map data via OS OpenData and OS licensed partners. If the map is being supplied by you as an image it must have at least 1 pixel for every millimetre of the wall mural. For example, if you want wall mural 400 x 250 cm (or 4000 x 2500 mm) in size, your image should be at least 4000 x 2500 pixels (10 megapixels).
We accept all image formats including tif, jpg, eps and pdf. It is important that you send your image as an image file and not a text file.
Upload Artwork
The artwork should be set up at 100% and will need to indicate trim and bleed. We accept all image formats including tif, jpg, eps and pdf.

Installation
Our custom wallpapers are easy to hang with regular paste:
- Low receptive Wallcovering - is one layer printed wallcovering (ideal for low power magnets)
- High receptive Wallcovering - has a base Liner with a printed wallcovering on top (ideal for low and high power magnets)
- The paste is applied directly to the wall and the numbered panels are hung in order edge to edge.
